HoodRank is operated by Ackermann Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 38 630 312 328) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using HoodRank, you agree to these Terms of Use.

A guide only — not advice

HoodRank produces a personal weighting guide over publicly available property and suburb data (such as government, census, crime, schools and transport data). It reflects the weights and criteria you choose, applied to that public data. It is not financial, legal, taxation, valuation or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or avoid any property or suburb. You should independently verify any information before relying on it, and consult a licensed financial adviser, buyer’s agent, valuer, and/or solicitor or conveyancer before making a property purchase decision.

Third-party data, provided as-is

HoodRank’s scores and reports rely on data from third-party and government sources that we do not control. We do not warrant that this data, or HoodRank’s output based on it, is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible for errors or omissions that originate in third-party data sources, and we recommend verifying anything important directly with the official source linked in your report.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ackermann Solutions Pty Ltd excludes all liability (including for negligence) for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, HoodRank, including indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee cannot be excluded, but can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the service, or paying the cost of having the service resupplied.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
